We review and improve our service continuously to ensure that we are a high quality, safe and responsive service.
We have a strong focus on quality and safety. We are committed to making sure that our services are safe, responsive, and based on the best available evidence for a peer support service.
We are continuously improving the quality and safety of our service
We have a dedicated quality and safety position. We are continuously looking at our practice and searching for ways to improve. Our team meets regularly to discuss and analyse data from various internal audit systems including:
- complaints and feedback mechanisms
- incident reporting
- review of processes involving intake and record keeping
- industry standards compliance
- risk management systems.
The Quality and safety framework
The framework objectives are to:
- embed a culture of continuous quality improvement in work practices to ensure improvements across both individual and collective performance
- document actions to demonstrate that we have a mechanism for identifying areas for improvement and a record of what has been achieved
- develop information to inform future planning
- implement systems of review and evaluation of data to monitor how well the organisation is performing and how it has made improvements
- understand strengths and weaknesses, learning from our experiences and acting on them
- benchmark both internally and within the wider sector.
