Nick Bridge
Nick is a passionate advocate for the health and wellbeing of nurses and midwives, bringing more than 35 years of experience across emergency nursing, intensive care, aeromedical retrieval, paramedicine, education and clinical leadership. Having worked in some of healthcare's most demanding environments, Nick has developed a deep understanding of the challenges clinicians face and the importance of early support, connection and self-care.
Throughout his career, Nick has combined clinical expertise with a strong commitment to developing and supporting the nursing workforce. He has led postgraduate nursing programs, developed nationally recognised education initiatives, including the COVID-19 Critical Care Essentials program, and mentored countless nurses throughout their careers.
Nick now works as a clinician with the Nursing and Midwifery Health Program Victoria (NMHPV), providing confidential wellbeing support to nurses, midwives and students across Victoria. Drawing on his extensive professional experience and an appreciation of the power of lived experience and peer support, he is committed to helping clinicians navigate workplace challenges, build resilience and sustain rewarding careers in nursing and midwifery.
